Oriental Music Theory — Maqam, Microtones, Rhythm & History

An introduction to the maqam system, microtonal structures, rhythmic cycles, and the historical evolution of Levantine music.

Vocal Workshops — Aramaic, Arabic Singing & Ladino

Sacred and folk repertoire, vocal ornamentation, phrasing, and expression in traditional Middle Eastern styles.

Instrumental Middle Eastern Music

Performing Turkish, Kurdish, Persian, and Arabic repertoire — for instrumentalists and percussionists.

Oud Masterclass

Individual oud lessons — for advanced players, but also for those who have never held an oud before.
The workshops cover playing technique, taqsim improvisation, working with maqam, and classical and contemporary repertoire.
