Spring 2026 – a time to spring ahead to what’s to come: Upcoming event highlights

As the season shifts, so does the rhythm of my work. This spring marks a moment to look ahead and share some of the projects, concerts, and collaborations that will shape the coming months of 2026.

From solo performances and new appearances with the Ibrahim Trio, to gatherings with Chór w Kontakcie, workshops dedicated to the music of the Orient across Poland and beyond, and concerts supporting meaningful causes—this year continues to grow as a space of encounter, exchange, and musical storytelling.

Below, you’ll find a selection of upcoming highlights. Each of them is part of a wider journey—one that connects places, traditions, and people through sound.

Stay close, explore the details, and keep an eye on what’s unfolding.

12.04.2026 – StrefaEtno Orient

Volume 15 of the concert series StrefaEtno Orient organised in collaboration with Strefa Nowa. Already over one year of monthly concerts featuring an exclusively Oriental music programme and a plethora of local and international artists. See you there this Sunday!

18-19.04.2026 – Weekend Music Workshop & Concert in Edinburgh

It is an absolute joy to carry a musical heritage, but even a greater pleasure to be able to share it with others. I have been blessed with the opportunity to do this in Europe and now Edinburgh is the next destination: From Orient to Heart a weekend where participants will learn traditional and contemporary songs rooted in Middle East, sing in Arabic, Aramaic, Turkish, Ladino (Sephardic), Greek and most of all enjoy music in a supportive and creative atmosphere.

6.05.2026 – Wassim Ibrahim & Friends: Sound of the Orient

For the second year I have the honour to perform in Kraków’s beloved Philharmonic Hall together with an array of musical friends and colleagues as part of the 4 Traditions Festival. A unique stage and musical experience that puts the cherry on top to my presence in the local music scene and allows me to share a muscial moment and path with a community of talented international artists

13.05.2026 – Ibrahim Trio live in Warsaw at BARdzo Bardzo

It was precisely in April 2024 that the Ibrahim Trio debuted in Kraków and now together with Joachim Mencel and Szymon Madej we are about to kick-start our third year of this ethno-jazz adventure. We were hosted last year in Warsaw at BARdzo Bardzo and looking forward to meeting you at the Polish capital once again.

15.05.2026 – From Ali Ufki to Mordechaj Gebirtij – Wassim Ibrahim Solo Concert at the Old Synagogue in Kraków

A solo concert in a place where history still resonates through every wall. In the unique space of the Old Synagogue, I will bring the sounds of the Levant into dialogue with a heritage deeply rooted in Polish Jewish culture—two worlds meeting not in contrast, but in harmony.

At a time when divisions seem louder than ever, this concert is a quiet reminder of something essential: that music has the power to connect what history, politics, and distance often keep apart.

An evening of reflection, listening, and shared human experience.

19.05.2026 – Charity Concert at Manggha Museum (Kraków)

Two years later the Ibrahim Trio returns to where it all begins, but this time it is music with a mission. I am very proud that our ethno-jazz project is pairing with the Dar Jonasza Foundation to support a very noble cause: the treatment of children with cancer at the University Children’s Hospital in Kraków. Do not miss this chance to make a difference.

28.09 – 5.10.2026 – Andalusia — A Return to Civilizational Harmony

Andaluzja here we come again! Last year’s musical workshop was an absolute success and a wonderful experience. The invitation to Andalusia became more than a journey; it became a pilgrimage. We centered the workshop around the musical threads that once wove together Al-Andalus: Arabic songs, Sephardic melodies in Ladino, and echoes of medieval coexistence.

2.12.2026 – Charity Concert at the Kraków Philharmonic

This will be the third year in a row that we come back to the Kraków Philharmonic together with the Dar Jonasza Foundation to support their mission. This end-of-the-year charity concert falls in line with the spirit of the holidays where solidarity and good will run wide and deep. Make sure to get acquainted with the foundation, follow them and keep tabs on their concerts.
